Book an appointment *Appointment Times* Choose from two convenient arrival slots: 🕗 AM Slot: 08:00 – 12:00 🕐 PM Slot: 13:00 – 17:00 Please note: Our engineer will attend at any time within your selected time slot. Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed. *Labour Charges* Minimum Charge — £120 + VAT (£144 Including VAT) The minimum charge is £120 + VAT (£144 including VAT) and covers the engineer's attendance and up to one hour of labour. There is no separate call-out charge. *Additional Labour* Additional labour beyond the first hour is charged at: £95 + VAT per hour (£114 including VAT) Additional labour is charged in 15-minute increments: 15 minutes: £28.50 including VAT 30 minutes: £57.00 including VAT 45 minutes: £85.50 including VAT 60 minutes: £114.00 including VAT *Parts & Parking* Parts: Charged separately. Parking: Additional parking charges may apply where parking is not provided free of charge. *No Access / Abortive Attendance* If our engineer attends the agreed appointment but is unable to gain access to the property because the customer has not provided reasonable access arrangements, a £65 plus VAT (£78 inclusive of VAT) attendance charge will apply. This may include circumstances where: - Nobody is available to provide access; - Keys or access codes have not been provided; - Agreed access arrangements have not been made; or - The engineer is unable to enter the property due to circumstances within the customer's control. The £78 attendance charge replaces the £144 minimum labour charge where the engineer is unable to gain access and no work is carried out. The £78 attendance charge will not apply where the inability to attend or carry out the appointment is due to circumstances within our control. **Before You Book** Please ensure that: - Someone will be available to provide access during the selected appointment window, or suitable access arrangements have been made; - The engineer has safe and reasonable access to the property; - Any required parking arrangements have been considered; and - You have provided accurate information about the work required. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and understood the charges and appointment information provided above.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy – HIU Plumbing Repairs This policy applies to bookings made via our website/Wix Bookings or directly with HIU Plumbing Repairs. By booking, you agree to this policy and our Terms & Conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected. BOOKING & CHARGES Payment of £144 including VAT is required at booking. This is the minimum charge and covers the engineer’s attendance and up to 1 hour of labour. There is no separate call-out charge. Additional labour after the first hour is £95 + VAT (£114 inc. VAT) per hour, charged in 15-minute increments. Parts and parking are charged separately. CONFIRMATION Your booking is confirmed once payment is received and confirmation is sent by email or SMS. Bookings are subject to availability. APPOINTMENT TIMES AM: 08:00–12:00 PM: 13:00–17:00 The engineer may arrive at any time within your selected slot. Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed. ACCESS & NO ACCESS You must provide safe and reasonable access, including keys, codes or permits where required. If the engineer attends but cannot gain access because reasonable access arrangements have not been provided, a £65 + VAT (£78 inc. VAT) No Access/Abortive Attendance charge applies. This replaces the £144 minimum charge where no access is obtained and no work or assessment can be carried out. WORK & SAFETY If access is provided but the engineer determines that work cannot safely or reasonably proceed, the £144 minimum charge remains payable where the engineer has attended and carried out an assessment or attempted the requested work. PARKING You are responsible for lawful parking. Applicable parking charges may be added to your invoice. We are not responsible for parking fines caused by customer parking arrangements. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES Cancellation or rescheduling requests are subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the booking. Short-notice cancellations or failure to provide access may result in reasonable charges for losses actually incurred, subject to your statutory rights. INFORMATION You are responsible for providing accurate contact, address, access and job information. Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays or additional costs.
